Our team is built from a variety of experienced early years practitioners, nursery assistants, team leads and our nursery manager.

All of our staff are vetted  via Protection of Vulnerable Group  checks through Disclosure Scotland and staff working directly with the children are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) with an expectation for continuous development.

Karen

Nursery Manager

Karen, brings over 20 years of childcare experience and holds Early Years Professional status alongside a PDA in Childhood Practice. Karen is progressing her BA in Childhood Practice to enhance her leadership and management skills. A key part of Craigard Nursery for over two decades, she is highly knowledgeable in curriculum, children’s emotional and developmental needs and operations of the nursery. Karen also serves as the Child Protection Officer. In a recent survey, parents describe our leadership as confident, visible and responsive.
